Title:
cannot avoid users login list on login screen
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Release: 12.04
lightdm 1.2.1
I wanted lightdm to ask for login ad password instead of showing the
list of users (having many users on the same machine) and inserted the
line greeter-hide-users=true in the file /etc/lightdm.conf section
seatdefaults. However it didn't change anything; I rebooted more
times, but the list of users was always on the login screen.
Switching to MintDisplayManager seems the only solution at the moment.
