Title:
bad display size allocation; twinview displaying incorrectly

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

when trying to output video to an external monitor from an atom
laptop, selecting the external display resolution size does not do
what it supposed to. Instead, we get partial graphics displayed on one
monitor, and even less graphics displayed on another. the
'resolution' looks right , but the 'desktop' only takes part of the
screen (a small part, like the left corner or the top half).
