It's likely using an approximation font. You would have to manually
install the Ubuntu font, I think.

Bug description:
Using LibreOffice 4.0.2.2 in Mac OSX, Ubuntu Light displays at sizes
that do not match those specified, the font also appears to compress
at certain sizes. Examples attached.
