Crash when highlight-dragging text

Bug description:
When I'm browsing online, I unconsciously highlight and deselect
random text on the page. Sometime when I drag the text briefly X will
crash. The crash consistently occurs at the moment the text-drag
starts or right after.
I've tried to reproduce the bug intentionally but can't, but I
consistently get X crashes every 5 hours or so of surfing online. I
use Chromium as my browser if it's relevant.
The Xorg.0.log.old has some details about a segfault at the end, I'm
pretty sure that lines up with the crash.
