just to confirm the bug with LibreOffice 4.0.2.2 from the LibreOffice PPA on ubuntu 12.04 LTS. @Björn Michaelsen on 12.04 mnemonics work as usual in Gedit, in Nautilus and in every other application I tested

Menu keyboard shortcuts are working for other apps via indicator-menu. WORKAROUND: Disable the global menu by removing the package "libreoffice-gtk".
