Unable to connect to scanner in the first few attempts
Status in “simple-scan” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Whenever I press the "Scan" button, the operation fails for the first few
times with the message
"Failed to scan"
"Unable to connect to scanner"
with "Close" and "Change Scanner" buttons.
After about 2-6 attempts, the scanner just works without issues.
