Title:
13.04 No unread mail bar on Thunderbird launcher
Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
In 12.04 and 12.10, a little unread mail bar appears on the
Thunderbird launcher (not the envelope icon in the menu bar) which
shows the number of unread mail items, exactly like the uninstalled
updates bar that appears on the Software Updater launcher, which shows
the number of updates awaiting installation. The unread mail bar is
exceedingly helpful, because you can see it across the room. I've
tried several complete reinstalls but it just isn't there any more in
13.04. Any chance of getting it back up?
