hi guys. happened to me. Chrome works, Chromium doesn't. This is most definately a bug, however I may have a workaround for the time being
I was sure it was a flash thing. So I checked out my plugins type 'about:plugins' look for Flash and disable it. Then re enable it. Thats it. Youtube started working for me. By no means an exact run down. This is because I also uninstalled Chromium and Flash then reinstalled (getting the same bug). But once I did 'about:plugins' and disable then re-enabled it, it worked the moment went back to youtube. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/998634 Title: chromium can't play youtube vids??
