Steam display corruption [xorg-edgers]

Bug description:
I am seeing corruption in Steam for Linux when trying to select a
folder for confirming an installation location. See example of
corruption attached. I am using xorg-edgers on Ubuntu 12.10.
To reproduce in Steam:
select a game to install
select a location on a new drive to create a steam install location
select folder for installation (corruption appears where the confirmation
dialogue should display)
