The focus handling in Unity has been rewritten extensively over the last
few years. I have not experienced this particular problem in a very
long time.

I am going to close this bug. If a similar problem occurs, please
report it as a new bug.

Title:
Windows keep losing focus in Ubuntu 11.10

Status in Unity:
  Won't Fix
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I updated my Oneiric Virtual Machine this morning and now windows keep
losing focus when I try and type in them. It doesn't appear to matter
what window I am using (thunderbird, terminal). It's annoying because
I cant use the terminal without having to click focus back. I can
barely type a few characters without it happening.

This didn't happen before todays update.
