To begin with, I don't think this was an error in libcanberra.
Also, the 64-bit version of Flash has been default for a while now, so no need
for nspluginwrapper.
If you still use 32-bit Flash and this error still occurs, please file a new
bug against nspluginwrapper.

Title:
npviewer crashing on libcanberra-gtk error
Status in “libcanberra” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
This happens when using flash in a web browser. When it happens, the
flash content does not always load. It doesn't happen with all flash
content.
The error is worst with Opera, but also comes up with FireFox. This
points to npviewer having a problem as used under Opera, *and*
libcanberra-gtk-module having a separate problem when used under
either.
Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit.
Full error message:
(npviewer.bin:16438): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x2600003 unexpectedly
destroyed
The program 'npviewer.bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 6282 error_code 3 request_code 18 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module":
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
(npviewer.bin:16464): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_get_origin:
assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed
