Title:
Pulse should output sound automatically when HDMI cable is plugged

Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
In Win7 when I connect an HDMI cable it outputs sound through it
automatically if the device has speakers, like an HDTV.

In Ubuntu I have to set the sound over and over again when plugging
and unplugging my laptop. This is a small but very irritating
  limitation.
