Title:
Automatic switch of audio to HDMI output not wanted.

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
As of Ubuntu 11.10, my HDMI monitor powering on (waking up after an
inactivity sleep) causes the audio system to auto-detect the HDMI
audio output and switch the output from my headphones (analogue out)
to the monitor. I don't want this.

If this new "feature" is going to stay, where is the option to force
the audio output to stick with my headset?
