Title:
Processing becomes wedged during image rescale.
Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
As small a task as scaling new image from 64x64 to 256x256, progress
bar goes to 50-75% and stops. Independent of interpolation setting.
Have not been patient enough to establish whether process ever
completes.
Update to kernel or libraries within past week highly suspect. Erased
and reinstalled entire system, before any further configuration,
tested gimp as described above, performed normally. Then ran Update
Manager, tested again, encountered problem.
Simultaneously arriving bugs reported separately as:
* Segmentation fault on closing layers/channels/path/undo dock
* Selection area vanishes on change of tool choice
