Its not so difficult as you might think: 1. We need to know if it is indended that gnome-icon-theme doesn't contain all symbols for eog. 1.1. If yes: Replace the depends gnome-icon-theme with a right one or add another icon-theme. 1.2. If not: It is a bug in gnome-icon-theme.
