Thanks, in fact we updated to 2.3 directly,

main motivation was to try to build on arm64 but that architecture is
still having issues (which is why it's only in trusty-proposed at the
moment, that's being worked on)

Trusty now has WebKitGTK 2.2.1 - hooray! But actually the latest
stable release is 2.2.2, and is required to build newer versions of
some GNOME programs such as Epiphany. Please upgrade to 2.2.2 -
