I can't reproduce this on HD 4000, in fact it only happens on GMA X4500.
And so I am fairly sure that bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55500
is responsible, i.e. a hardware bug triggered by SNA. I.e. I am closing
this report as invalid.

Title:
  Path bar graphical corruption

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
With nautilus in ubuntu 13.04 (on intel graphics), graphical
corrpution of the path bar at the top of nautilus can occur when the
  window is snapped to fullscreen.

  To reproduce:
  - Enable 'always-use-location-entry' for nautilus, in dconf-editor or
gnome-tweak-tool.
  - Repeatedly snap the window to the top to make it fullscreen.

Note that nothing happens if breadcrumb is enabled rather than pathbar
  - see screenshot.
