Non-sequitur "IBus Update" notification when starting installer

Bug description:
Ubuntu 13.10
1. Start up the computer from Ubuntu installation media.
What you see: Before the installer appears, an "IBus Update"
notification bubble appears, with the text "Super+Space is now the
default hotkey."
What's wrong with this:
1. People can't be expected to know what "IBus" is.
2. Nothing is being "updated", as far as I know; I haven't even started
installing Ubuntu yet.
3. Almost no-one has a key they know of as "Super" on their keyboard.
4. "Default hotkey" for what, exactly?
5. I'm probably not using IBus during installation anyway.
What you should see:
* If a particular IBus keyboard combo has changed in this Ubuntu
version, and you are likely to use that combo during installation (for
example, if and when you add an extra keyboard layout), then you
should be shown a more explanatory message -- for example, with a
picture of the keys involved as appropriate for Windows and Mac
keyboards.
* If that is not the case, or if you are not a member of that class of
people (for example, you use only one keyboard layout), there should
be no notification at all.
