vasek125, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xorg-server REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
Display resolution sometimes wrong after resume from suspend to ram

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

Sometimes after resume from suspend to ram resolution is incorrect. It
can be easily corrected using gnome display setting or using "xrandr
-s 1680x1050 -r 60". Saving current resolution before suspend and
restoring after resume should fix this(but rarely resolution is wrong
after system boot). I had the same problem with 9.04. Xorg.conf
configuration does not corrected this. Only xrandr utility can fix
  this.
