Sasa Paporovic, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg-server REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful. Thank you for your understanding. Sometimes(arround every 10-20 times) a start of a guest crashed xorg, which brings the user back to login screen. That is critical, because in regular cases such behaviour will cause data loose of not saved work. Expected: xorg should be more robust to handle virtualisation with virtualbox. -> Crashes of the guest may be o.K, but crashes of the host are not. Additional: This is also reported to virtualbox bugtracker, but I see it more on the side on xorg than virtualbox. I have observed such behaviour also on openSUSE12.1, also with 4.1.6 for sure. I do not know if the crasher also happen with virtualbox4.1.2, which ships with Ubuntu 11.10 by default.(I am pretty sure it is like this). I am on Radeon HD3000.
