Adrian Nitescu, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xorg-server REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
  The interface crashes

Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
The interfaces crashes, activities bar disappears and in it's place a menu
appears with File - Edit and some other buttons.
I can start terminal with CTRL+ALT+T but I can't type anything because the
keyboard doesn't work.
I can't switch between windows but the borders light up when I press ALT+TAB.
I can close them with the mouse by pressing X.

The problem appears random, when I switch between windows, start a
program or access the activities menu.

To get around this without rebooting I enter the console with
CTRL+ALT+F1 and type sudo gnome-session --replace. Then I takes me
back to the login window. It kills all my programs and I lost unsaved
  work.
