Ayke, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xserver-xorg-video-nouveau REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is
already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one
would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
sudden crash (when launcher is revealed in Unity?)

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-nouveau” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Nouveau (I think it was nouveau, I don't know, maybe it was X) suddenly
crashed, but I don't know why. A black screen appeared with a stack trace (from
Nouveau if I remember correctly), but I forgot to take a photo. The computer
was unresponsive and I had to restart (force shutdown).
apport-cli didnt report that there was a crash, and /var/crash is empty.
I have changed a few things on my computer lately. I removed the nvidia
proprietary drivers because they weren't enabled after a kernel update (??) and
installed nvidia. Now I have this installed:

  $ dpkg --list | egrep "(nvidia|nouveau)"
  ii libdrm-nouveau1a
