Marek Matusiak, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

The next letter I press after the mousepad gets multiplied, the keyboard gets 'stuck' and loses some following keyboard input until the system recovers. Example: mousepad followed by s -> sssssssssssss. I tested the problem also with Ubuntu 9.04 and 8.10 live-cds. With the 9.04 I could replicate the problem, but with 8.10 I could notice some lag of the keyboard input appearing on screen but no loss or replication of characters as with 9.04.
