Title:
system hangs on restore from sleep/hibernation

Status in “pm-utils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pm-utils

Running Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 on a Samsung NC10.
When restoring, the system hangs halfway through the loading animation and
remains that way indefinitely. This happens regardless of whether the power
adapter is plugged in or not. Restoring in recovery mode is unaffected, and
booting from scratch when the system has been shut down completely is also fine.
Also, on occasion the system goes to sleep again within a minute of loading,
without any user input.
