I tried a guest session and it worked. Also, remember resizing is
working for me now too. I guess it was some artefact of the upgrade that
was doing weird things and then got better, so I'll mark this as
invalid.

Bug description:
When you open a nautilus window, it is slightly too narrow to show
four columns, so instead it shows three with a chunk of space wasted.
See the attached screenshot. It probably should remember the size it
was last made, or at least be a little bit wider.
