Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this

Title:
Album/Podcast Art not Visible for First Song/Podcast After Launch
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When Rhythmbox is first opened after a reboot (if you have the side
panel open) and you select a song or podcast for playback, only one
pixel of the album art will be visible in the album art window. When
you click on a second song or podcast for playback, then the height of
the window is adjusted and the album art is visible. The album art is
then visible for the rest of the session.
Current behavior: When the first song is clicked, the album art isn't
visible.
Expected behavior: That when the first song is clicked, then album art
is visible just as it is for all subsequent songs currently.
I am guessing there is a default height that isn't getting initialized
correctly for the very first song.
