That applies to some buttons, menu lables, even to text in different web browsers. My font rendering is set to "best form", but other settings gave the same result. Now I set it to "black and white" but I kinda doubt that works. The fun thing is, that sometimes when the text has to be redrawn (e.g. because a window moved over it and off again), the text is fine, again. lsb_release -rd: Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 The whole thing is running on an iBook G4: Linux version 2.6.28-6-powerpc (buildd@adare) (gcc version 4.3.3 (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) ) #20-Ubuntu Fri Apr 17 08:30:40 UTC 2009 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/374041/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
