Pàll, please calm down, and read [1] for information on bug importance levels. At most this is of 'Medium' importance, but most likely, given that there is a very simple work-around, this is of 'Low' importance. It would also be appreciated if you stop modifying the report, since we are aware that it exists, and every change just sends more e-mails. This bug is also clearly not in PulseAudio, but in MuseScore's handling of it. Previously, MuseScore used gawk to detect PulseAudio, but the dependency was later changed to mawk (as that was better suited to Debian). This check is now obsolete, and so new upload of MuseScore is in progress to remove it.

Not sure if "PulseAudio" (upstream), I added, should included/needed/confirmed or/and "pulseaudio (Ubuntu)" only.] From http://musescore.org/en/node/22727 "By default Ubuntu has mawk installed instead of gawk and so Musescore suspends pulseaudio when it does not need to. A temporary fix is to install gawk, however this should work out of the box." I've created a symlink to mawk and this seems to work, pulseaudio is not suspended anymore To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pulseaudio/+bug/1284273/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
