demos in comment #3 all run fine in Firefox 34 on Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty
Tahr" on an AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB.
Full support for your nVidia GF106 [GeForce GT 555M] [10de:0df4]
(including firmware microcode) is included in Ubuntu 12.04 "Precise
Pangolin" and later Ubuntu releases.
