Title: copy paste of Hebrew consistently crashes Writer Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Yesterday I wanted to copy-paste an article from a newspaper into Libre Office. My initial attempt crashed the system such that the only way to turn off the system was hold the power button. After that I decided to do it in parts. I took the first part which was basically a single paragraph. The first paragraph went in, so I tried some more text, after the first picture. That again crashed Ubuntu so the power button again was needed. A third attempt likewise crashed the system, so that I understood that there are apparently some characters which Libre Office has real trouble with. To solve the problem I did a copy paste into gedit which lost all the formatting information - but at least it worked with no crashes. After I had all the text in gedit, I could copy paste from gedit to LIbre Office. Then I did a copy image on the pictures and added them. The copy image was clean - as I have come to expect from Libre Office. In short, I got the job done. Since I have a very high opinion of Libre Office, I would like someone to look into the problem and filter out whatever nasty character is crashing the system.
