Depressing the power button (only tried while logged in) or selecting shutdown from the menu will produce a dialog which will default to shutdown after a minute. Although this power down option works correctly, 5 to 7 seven seconds seems like a long time while awaiting a forced shutdown and a minute seems like forever. Can the default time until shutdown be reduced?
Hibernation appears to happen following a hibernation menu request (did not try an automatic one). Recovery from hibernation fails miserably with a splotched black and white pattern. Recovery from this disaster requires not one but two powerdowns and restarts. The first restart produces a yucky theme.
