Hi Bogdan! I'm the same opinion as You but even if this bug is fixed, the problem doesn't disappear because of another bug i reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1579570
Until the bug 1579570 hangs over our heads (and it doesn't even have an importance set) it is all the same if the phone tries to ring or not cause we hardly hear it anyway. Join the bug report 1579570 if You think it makes sense and I think it is perhaps not technically but a bigger problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1544477 Title: No sound notification for new SMS (Ubuntu Touch) Status in Canonical System Image: Confirmed Status in media-hub package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I noticed for last 2-3 days there is no sound notification for a new SMS, but there's a blinking green LED notification.
