Desktop Environment: Gnome Yes you are right, i meant the context menu (the one that has options like 'new folder', 'open in terminal',.. )
A bit more in depth: It does not matter where the click is, clicking either inside the main pane, the sidebar, the toolbar, even clicking outside the window doesn't work (no matter if left or right). pressing the escape key always closes the menu instantly. if you move away for more than 100px it closes instantly aswell. heres something odd: I'm using the numix GTK theme (no shell theme). in numix the radius is much larger and multiple clicks on the same spot do not change anything. when switching to the default adwaita theme the radius becomes much smaller and clicking twice (no matter the delay between the clicks) also closes the context menu. im not convinced this is an issue of nautilus, but all the other context-menus of other programs im using are working perfectly fine. let me know if i can provide additional information. ** Description changed: 1. Open a nautilus window 2. Rightclick somewhere to make a tooltip appear 3. Can't close it by left clicking if the click is in an area (estimated 100px) near the top left corner (outside of the tooltip) OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Nautilus: 3.14.3 + Desktop Environment: Gnome -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1597268 Title: Nautilus tooltip doesnt close on left click if within ~100px radius of top left corner Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: 1.
