Title:
simple-scan works only with "sudo".
Status in simple-scan package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Hi,
I followed the instructions of this link "http://www.ubuntu-
es.org/node/181782" to make my scanner working.
To use it, I have to run "sudo simple-scan" otherwise I get this error:
** (simple-scan:3354): WARNING **: Couldn't register with accessibility bus:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did
not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply
timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
Is there a solution for this issue?
Thanks.
