Title:
  laptop freezes up on resume from suspension

Status in pm-utils package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  suspended the laptop. However on resume it freezes up, so I have to do a hard 
reset.
  I have tried the option:
  sudo pm-suspend  --quirk-dpms-on
  with some success though, will let you know if it continues to be successful 
or develops freezing again.
