I installed epiphany-browser (and epiphany-browser-data) 3.22.7-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10.
I visited ubuntu.com and I did a Google search. I bookmarked a page. I opened a new tab. My visited pages showed up correctly on the New Tab page. It shouldn't crash after the update. Regression Potential -------------------- Low. The 3.18.10 update introduced a regression where it was impossible to enter text on websites. 3.18 releases are basically only done now for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS's benefit so those get less testing. To mitigate that regression potential, I have subscribed to epiphany- browser bugs in Launchpad to know about possible regressions sooner. I now specifically test for entering text on websites. This update is for 3.22 though which is still in use by many distros, such as Debian stretch and the latest Fedora. So it's less likely than 3.18 to have that kind of major regression.
