Title:
  PulseAudio refuses to start

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Since yesterday, PulseAudio has refused to start without any kind of
  error :

  sudo service pulseaudio start
  and
  sudo /etc/init.d/pulseaudio start 

  don't return anything, only

  ~$ : pulseaudio 
  E: [pulseaudio] core-util.c: Home directory /home/phoenamandre not ours.

  or 
  ~$ : sudo pulseaudio 
  W: [pulseaudio] main.c: This program is not intended to be run as root 
(unless --system is specified).
  E: [pulseaudio] core-util.c: Failed to create secure directory: Permission 
denied

  
  Sound still works but it's now impossible to do anything with Sound indicator
