Thanks for your answer, Sebastien. In that case, couldn't you have asked more about the issue? Well, I'm not sure what else we can report about it though, as it's simply a working function in Natty doesn't work after upgrading to Oneiric. Oh, come to think of it, those who have upgraded from Natty to Oneiric seem to have this issue. Let me test it with my laptop which has pure Oneiric installed. I haven't really used it as Ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 have power consumption bugs.
