Title:
snd_intel8x0 driver and Ubuntu 10.10
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Hello,
A previous snd_pcm_avail() running might freeze the X11 server.
I was reading a playlist under "Totem" and was looking at some
thumbnails/media under "gtk Imagination" program, then get a X freeze.
I restarted and have seen this log:
min_avail.
Aug 23 09:34:24 pulseaudio[1261]: ratelimit.c: 10 events suppressed
Aug 23 09:34:30 pulseaudio[1261]: ratelimit.c: 1 events suppressed
Aug 23 10:02:31 pulseaudio[1269]: alsa-sink.c: ALSA nous a réveillé pour lire

I cannot provide more informations right now.
I hope this will help you to fix this issue.
