The same today. I just browsed some pages on the Internet and... BOOM. Unfortunately, I can't provide any details because I always have to unplug the cable from the power outlet. (I don't see any HD activity - as I remember - so I don't think it's because of out of memory.)
I don't know what happened to Ubuntu 17.10 but it has became very unstable since the update. Can it be my fault? What should I do? Should I do a clean installation? Any suggestions? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1728585 Title: no screen, no keyboard, no mouse, high cpu usage Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have just switched to the last (dynamic) workspace and a half minute later computer froze. It didn't reacted to any keyboard and mouse events, laptop lid closing (I hoped I can suspend) or HDMI cable un/plug (it sometimes used to solve some freezes). That's all I know.
