I have a similar problem in Lenovo Ideapad 320 80YF0005BR. The touchpad doesn't hold left click to select text and right click isn't working either, but the pointer moves normally. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (MATE) Linux 4.4.0-59 i686 X.Org 1.18.4.
