You made this bug report in 2008 regarding Thunderbird and there have been several versions of Thunderbird since then. Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? Or, if it is still a problem, could you come to Launchpad and make a comment to that effect? However, some messages are rendered with a larger font. An example of this is the third message in the thread "Typedef Bug/Error" in comp.lang.c sent by Pranav 2008-09-01. The character encoding for this message is EUC-KR. Anyway, as far as I know there is no reason to a larger font for this encoding.
