Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2010 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the 
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect BUGNUMBER

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

Title:
  SMTP Settings not editable, also menu options not show.

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

  1. Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with GNOME.

  2. Thunderbird installed from repos. (3.0.5+build2+nobinonly-
  0ubuntu0.10.01.1) also thunderdbird-gnome-support, thunderbird-locale-
  es-es

  3. Expect configure the account user for email reading.

  4. In Edit->Account Settings by default show the username but the textfield 
is not editable, cannot Remove and if i click de Add Button the textfield to 
configure the new accounts is not editable.
  Also de Button Account Actions not show options.

  In all second level Menus not show:
  - Go->Next->*Nothing* 
  - Go->Previous->* Nothing* 
  - View ->Headers->*Nothing*
  etc...

  I tried remove and reinstalling thunderbird but the problem still
  there.

  BUT if set None in System-Preferences->Appearence->Visual Effects
  works fine.
