Title:
  Multiple popups

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

When I restart firefox and wander off, when I return I have multiple
(I've actually witnessed 6, 9 and 15) "Password Required" popups, all
asking me for the password for the System Security Device. Since these
popups appear on any open screen, they confuse me.

How can I tell which of my many open (and restored) tabs want access
  to my stored passwords?

How can I tell which popup to answer? I don't want to type my password
  multiple times.

When I try to reduce the number of popups to one by clicking Cancel, I
find I must guess the right order to Cancel them. If I click Cancel
  out-of-order it's ignored.

What's the upper limit on the number of popups asking for the same
  password?

Why aren't the "Please enter the password for the System Security Device"
popups
      numbered,
      timestamped,
      tagged with a URL, or,
      unique?
