Title:
A deleted contact in a list does not disappear instantaneously

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: thunderbird

Problem: when I delete a contact in some custom contact list (in
Thunderbird's address book), it does not disappear from the displayed
list. Deletion is performed correctly, though, but I have to close
the address book and open it again (or go to another custom list and
come back to the first one) to see it deleted effectively.

Expected behaviour: the contact should disappear instantaneously from
the custom list, as it happens when deleting a contact from the
address book (in the main contact list).

Steps to reproduce: I don't know. When I create a new list, add
contacts to it and delete them everything works correctly. But with
one of my existing lists (at least) the problem shows up. No idea what
it specific to this list, but I can investigate if you have some
  ideas.

  Best regards.
