this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu and hplip have been updated since
then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to
this bug?
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run
the following (only once):
apport-collect 1507356
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Ubuntu 15.04 does not recognize my scanner printer the HP ENVY 4500 series
(all in one), I installed the latest version of HPLIP-3.15.9 and still not
recognize the scanner, the printer works perfectly, showing the error is " hp:
/ usb / serial ENVY_4500_series = CN57V351MY05X4 ", to run diagnostics on the
terminal with HPLIP out the following" Checking for HP Properitery Plugin's ....
No plug-in printers are configured. ".
