Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with the
system-config-printer package. You made this bug report in 2015 and Ubuntu and
the system-config-printer package have been updated since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to
this bug?
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run
the following (only once):
apport-collect 1408203
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Bug description:
Double click the "Laserjet" in Printer page, the printer page will
turn black. After more than 1min, the attribute of printer pop up
双击打印机中的Laserjet，打印机页面变黑，过了1分多钟，打印机属性页面会弹出来
Steps:
1. Enter into system settings-->Printer
2. Double click the Laserjet
-->Failed. The printer page turn black
