Title:
Newer versions of Firefox from firefox-next PPA keep resetting
  pdfjs.disabled to "false"

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I'm using the firefox-next PPA on Ubuntu 12.10 and prefer to disable
the builtin pdfjs as it doesn't handle PDFs as well as evince.

However, each time Firefox is updated the config setting
  pdfjs.disabled keeps resetting to false.
