Title:
gedit doesn't notice when an open file is replaced by an older version
Status in gedit package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
When I am editing a file in gedit and it is updated outside of the
editor, gedit normally warns me of this. An exception is when I
overwrite the file with a mv command at the command line with an older
file. gedit probably needs to track backwards timestamp changes as
well.
