How to reproduce? Install this extension from https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/2087/desktop-icons-ng-ding/ in Ubuntu 19.10 development release. Then, install the same in Fedora 30, or Arch with Gnome. Gnome shell works in those distros, or any other, but fails in Ubuntu 19.10.
